Mrs America

THERE is so much talent involved in Mrs America that it’s easy to see why the show captivates from the outset, while also providing a timely reminder of how change is seldom as easy as it should be no matter how necessary or well informed.

The show (which aired its first two episodes on BBC2 earlier this week) was created by Dahvi Waller (who worked on Mad Men), the first two episodes were directed by indie stalwarts turned Captain Marvel duo Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, and stars a powerhouse cast headed by Cate Blanchett and also featuring Elizabeth Banks, Rose Byrne, Tracey Ullman, Margo Martindale, Uzo Aduba, James Marsden, John Slattery, Sarah Paulson and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
