Hugh Jackman confirms UK dates for The Man The Music The Show Tour

HUGH Jackman has announced a series of live musical performances in the UK as part of his new The Man. The Music. The Show. Tour.

The dates, which include two nights at London’s O2 Arena, will see Jackman perform a series of songs from his films The Greatest Showman and Les Miserables, as well a selection of other tracks from film and Broadway.

The tour kicks off at Manchester Arena on May 24, before heading for the O2 in June.

Jackman may best be known for playing the X-Men character Wolverine, but he also boasts an impressive body of work on Broadway, having played singer songwriter Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz back in 2003.

On-screen, the star was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as Jean Valjean in the movie version of the musical Les Miserables and he also headed the cast of the successful musical The Greatest Showman, the soundtrack to which won an Oscar and has sold 4.5 million copies around the world.

Jackman will play the following dates in the UK (all May and June 2019)

24 – Manchester Arena
27 – Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena

2 & 3 – London, The O2

Tickets for the London shows go on sale at 9am on Friday, December 7.

In addition, Jackman has announced a series of European shows that will take in dates in Paris and Hamburg, while the US tour will take in cities including Detroit, Los Angeles and New York. Jackman will also perform in Toronto.
