Declan McKenna announces Autumn UK tour dates (2017)

Story by Jack Foley

DECLAN McKenna has announced details of a UK headline tour for the Autumn, including his biggest headline show to date at London’s KOKO.

The new live dates follow the recent release of Declan’s critically acclaimed debut album, What Do You Think About The Car?, and his show-stealing performances at the Reading & Leeds Festivals over the weekend.

The tour will mark a meteoric 12 months for the 18-year-old Brit who has toured the world relentlessly with his melody-heavy indie pop songs, each fizzing with those insatiable guitar hooks and Declan’s socially conscious lyrical nous.

The 13-date run will kick off with a hometown show in High Wycombe on October 5, and concludes on November 3 at London’s Koko, interspersed with another spate of dates across Europe.

Tickets for the UK tour go on general sale from Friday, September 1. Support on the dates comes from FEET.
