Arinzé Kene's Misty transfers to Trafalgar Studios

FOLLOWING its sold-out run at the Bush Theatre, Arinzé Kene’s acclaimed Misty is transferring to Trafalgar Studios for a limited six week run – from September 8 to October 20, 2018.

Through a visceral blend of theatre, gig and performance poetry, Kene delivers an epic, heartfelt and playful exploration of creative freedom, set against a pulsing vision of modern London.

Misty is directed by the Bush Theatre’s Omar Elerian (NASSIM, One Cold Dark Night, Islands) and features an original musical score performed live during the show.

Playwright and actor Kene’s credits including the Bob Dylan musical Girl From the North Country, The Pass opposite Russell Tovey and Been So Long alongside Michaela Coel. His previous plays include Good Dog, which ran at Watford Palace Theatre last year.

Misty is directed by Omar Elerian and designed by Rajha Shakiry, with lighting by Jackie Shemesh, sound by Elena Peña, dramaturgy by Kirsty Housely, video design by Daniel Denton and music by Shiloh Coke and Adrian McLeod.

The role of Little Girl will be played by Mya Napoleon/Rene Powell.
