Cast of Thriller Live celebrate Michael Jackson's 60th birthday in the W/E on an open-top bus

MICHAEL Jackson would have been 60 yesterday (August 29, 2018) and the cast of record-breaking Thriller Live celebrated by entertaining West End crowds from the top of a Thiller Live branded open-top bus. They also appeared on BBC1’s The One Show.

Performing Michael Jackson hits to the delight of crowds of shoppers, tourists and office workers grabbing a lunchtime sandwich were Haydon Eshun, who has now performed in 3,102 Thriller Live performances – a West End record for a lead singer in a musical – Vivienne Ekwulugo, David Julien and MJ dancer/singer David Devyne.

Thriller Live, now in its 10th record-breaking year in the West End, will celebrate 4,000 performances at the Lyric Theatre with a Gala Charity Performance in aid of The Prince’s Trust on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

For one night only Jon Culshaw and Russell Kane will host the show that will raise funds for The Prince’s Trust. With more guests to be announced this very exciting gala charity performance promises to be a truly unforgettable night! All proceeds from tickets sales will be donated to The Prince’s Trust and the gala night will launch a year-long partnership and commitment to provide tickets, workshops and a mentoring programme.
