Six extends run at the Arts Theatre

Casting news

DUE to overwhelming demand, the producers of new British musical Six have announced a three week extension, taking bookings at the Arts Theatre to Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Following the West End season, the production will tour to the Rose Theatre Kingston (October 31 to November 4), Nuffield Theatre, Southampton (November 13 – 17), The Lowry, Salford (December 4 – 16), and Glasgow SEC (December 20 – 30).

Previously Posted: Casting has been announced for the West End premiere of Six, the pop concert musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, which runs at the Arts Theatre from Thursday, August 30 to Sunday, September 23, 2018.

Jarneia Richard-Noel, who plays Catherine of Aragon, was in The Color Purple in Concert at Cadogan Hall.

Millie O’Connell, who plays Anne Boleyn, recently appeared in the UK tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie and was understudy Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street at the Theatre Du Chatelet, Paris.

Natalie Paris, who plays Jane Seymour, was Louise in Sunday in the Park with George at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Alexia McIntosh, who plays Anne Of Cleves, was Rosa in Godiva Rocks at Belgrade Theatre.

Aimie Atkinson, who plays Katherine Howard, was Daniela in In The Heights at Kings Cross Theatre and originated the lead role of Luisa in Zorro the Musical (UK Tour);

Maiya Quansah-Breed, who plays Catherine Parr, has just graduated from Guildford School of Acting.

Completing the cast as swing/dance captain is Grace Mouat, who has also just graduated from GSA.

From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII finally take the mic to tell their tale, remixing 500 years of ‘her-storical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of sisterly sass-itude’.

Directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, Six has choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, sound design by Paul Gatehouse, musical supervision by Joe Beighton and orchestrations by Tom Curran.

Six is suitable for ages 12+.
