Casting announced for The Watsons at the Menier Chocolate Factory

FULL casting has been announced for the London transfer of Laura Wade’s new play The Watsons. Adapted from the unfinished novel by Jane Austen, it runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory from September 20 to November 16, 2019.

The line up includes Joe Bannister, Louise Ford, Grace Molony and Laurence Ubong Williams.

Joining them are Sam Alexander, Sally Bankes, Jane Booker, Elaine Claxton, Tim Delap, Sophie Duval, Isaac Forward, Sonny Fowler, Charles Howard, Rhianna McGreevy, Elander Moore, Paksie Vernon, Cat White and John Wilson Goddard.

Joe Bannister’s theatre credits include As You Like It (National Theatre); The Roaring Girl and Titus Andronicus (RSC) and Chariots of Fire (Gielgud Theatre/Hampstead Theatre).

Louise Ford’s theatre credits include Knight of the Burning Pestle (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare’s Globe). Her television work includes The Windsors.

Grace Molony’s theatre credits include Lady Windermere’s Fan (Vaudeville Theatre). She has also appeared in the films Artemis Fowl and Mary Queen of the Scots.

Laurence Ubong Williams’ theatre credits include The Deep Blue Sea (Chichester Theatre); Jumpy (Theatr Clwyd) and The Winter’s Tale (Orange Tree Theatre).
