Cinderella: A Fairytale - Jack Studio Theatre

Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

THIS Christmas, the Jack Studio Theatre is presenting Cinderella: A Fairytale from Wednesday, December 12, 2018 to Saturday, January 5, 2019.

Ella lives in the forest with her loving and devoted father. When her father remarries, Ella is soon at the mercy of her cruel and scheming new relations. A chance encounter leads to an invitation to a ball and a hilarious and heart-warming reversal of fortunes begins, with surprising twists along the way.

Described as a thrilling and imaginative retelling of the Brothers Grimm version of the story, Cinderella: A Fairytale is produced by the team behind the Offie nominated and five star productions of The Wolves of Willoughby Chase, Lifeboat and Kes.

Devised by Sally Cookson, Adam Peck and the original company, Cinderella: A Fairytale is directed by Kate Bannister and has set design by Karl Swinyard, with costume design by Martin J Robinson, lighting by Ben Jacobs, sound by Phil Matejtschuk, dance choreography by Matthew Parker and movement by Will Pinchin. Composer is Elliot Clay.
