DREAMGIRLS, which opens at the Savoy Theatre on December 14, 2016, following preview performances from November 19, has extended its booking period – until May 6, 2017.

The production has also announced a partnership with TodayTix who will run a Dreamgirls £15 Front Row Lottery offering tickets daily, across all performances, via the free theatre ticket app on iOS and Android devices.

The exclusive mobile lottery will open for entries from midnight, then close four and a half hours prior to the performance, with winners drawn at random and notified via email and push notification. Users who share the lottery on Twitter and/or Facebook via the app receive an additional entry for each platform. Everyone has the potential of three entries per performance, and can continue to apply daily for as many performances as desired.

Merritt Baer, CEO and co-Founder of TodayTix, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching the Dreamgirls £15 Front Row mobile lottery. The opportunity to partner with Sonia Friedman and her prestigious team on this much-anticipated new production is fantastic. We’re honored that leaders of the West End theatre industry continue to embrace our technology and join us in our mission to make theatre more accessible.”

Dreamgirls charts the tumultuous journey of a young female singing trio from Chicago, Illinois called ‘The Dreams’, as they learn the hard lesson that show business is as tough as it is fabulous. The cast includes American actress and singer Amber Riley as Effie White, Liisi LaFontaine as Deena Jones and Ibinabo Jack as Lorrell Robinson, who together make up ‘The Dreams’.

They are joined by Joe Aaron Reid (as Curtis Taylor Jr), Adam J. Bernard (Jimmy Early), Tyrone Huntley (C.C. White), Nicholas Bailey (Marty) and Lily Frazer (Michelle Morris) with Ruth Brown and Karen Mav alternating the role of Effie White at performances when Amber Riley is not scheduled to perform.

Completing the cast are Michael Afemaré, Jocasta Almgill, Callum Aylott, Hugo Batista, Samara Casteallo, Chloe Chambers, Carly Mercedes Dyer, Joelle Dyson, Kimmy Edwards, Candace Furbert, Nathan Graham, Ashley Luke Lloyd, Gabriel Mokake, Sian Nathaniel-James, Sean Parkins, Kirk Patterson, Ryan Reid, Rohan Richards, Noel Samuels, Durone Stokes and Tosh Wanogho-Maud.
