Final casting announced for the return of Six to the West End

FINAL casting has been announced for the acclaimed pop concert musical Six, which returns to the Arts Theatre from Thursday, January 17 to Sunday, May 5, 2019, following a short, sold out season in 2018.

Joining the cast from January, will be two additional alternates – Vicki Manser (alternate Anne Boleyn and Anna of Cleves), whose previous credits include Bat Out of Hell (West End) and 2nd Cover Carole in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (West End) and Courtney Stapleton (alternate Catherine of Aragon and Catherine Parr), whose creits include the Dance Captain in Bat Out of Hell, Cover Eponine in Les Misérables and Cover Ali in Mamma Mia! (all in the West End).

They join previously announced original West End cast members Jarneia Richard-Noel (Catherine of Aragon), Millie O’Connell (Anne Boleyn), Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour), Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves), Aimie Atkinson (Katherine Howard), Maiya Quansah-Breed (Catherine Parr) and Grace Mouat (alternate Jane Seymour/Katherine Howard and Dance Captain). Winner of Best Ensemble in a Play or Musical in the 2018 BroadwayWorld Awards, the production has been nominated for six Whatsonstage Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Cast Recording, Best Choreography, Best Lighting and Best Costumes.

It has also been nominated for six Off West End Awards, including Best New Musical, Best Musical Production and Best Ensemble as well as Best UK Cast Recording in The Curtain Up Show Album of The Year Awards 2018.

From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII finally take the mic to tell their tale, remixing 500 years of ‘her-storical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of sisterly sass-itude’.
