THE Donmar Warehouse has launched the official artwork for Sweet Charity. Directed by Josie Rourke, the production runs from Saturday, April 6 to Saturday, June 8, 2019.

Renowned photographer Nick Knight and SHOWstudio have paid it forward by creating this shot of Anne-Marie Duff as Charity Hope Valentine in support of YOUNG+FREE and SWEET FRIDAYS at the Donmar.

SWEET FRIDAYS will see every ticket at performances from April 26 given, for free, to a young person aged 25 or under. The Donmar is asking its audiences to join in and PAY IT FORWARD too, by making a donation to support YOUNG+FREE at www.donmarwarehouse.com/visit/young-free/.

New York, 1967. Charity Hope Valentine is a dance hall hostess who “runs her a heart like a hotel”. At the hopeless end of a long line of users and losers, she meets Oscar, a mild-mannered tax accountant, and Charity Hope Valentine once again puts her faith in love.

Oscar is played by Arthur Darvill.
