Hello Again - Union Theatre

Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

SUGGESTED by the play La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler and presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd, Hello Again runs at the Union Theatre from August 31 (previews from August 28) to September 21, 2019.

The musical, with music, book and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa, explores the fine line between love and lust through a series of love affairs and sexual encounters among ten characters placed over the 10 decades of the 20th century. Times may have changed but has the nature of love?

Michael John LaChiusa’s adaptation follows the structure of Schnitzler’s original material closely and his score includes a variety of musical style and pastiche ranging from opera to 1970s disco.

The production will be staged and directed by Offie Nominated director Paul Callen.

The Union Theatre has previously performed productions of LaChiusa’s The Wild Party, First Lady Suite and Bernarda Alba.

Produced by Sasha Regan, Hello Again has musical direction by Henry Brennan and design by Justin Williams. Associate producer is Maison Kelley.
