Waitress - next Cast Album Karaoke Night on October 16

WAITRESS has announced that its next Cast Album Karaoke Night will take place on October 16, 2019, in partnership with Official London Theatre offering audience members the chance to sing songs from the hit comedy musical, by seven-time Grammy® nominee Sara Bareilles, live on the West End stage.

Previously Posted: The producers of Waitress have announced that the hit musical is extending its run at the Adelphi Theatre for a fourth time. The critically and publicly acclaimed production is now booking until March 28, 2020 with tickets on sale today (Monday, September 23, 2019) for the new booking period.

As previously announced, Waitress will be holding its next Cast Album Karaoke Night on September 25, when it will be co-hosted by Joe Sugg who plays Ogie, and Marisha Wallace who plays Becky.

Joe will also co-host the next Waitress Cast Album Karaoke Night on September 25 with Marisha Wallace, who plays waitress Becky in the production.

Previously Posted: Joe Sugg will make his stage debut in the hit musical comedy Waitress, which is currently booking at the Adelphi Theatre until January 4, 2020.

He will join the West End cast in the role of Ogie on September 9, 2019, taking over from Blake Harrison, whose final performance will be on Saturday, September 7.

Joe Sugg said: “I’m so excited I’ve been given the opportunity to play Ogie in Waitress starting the 9th September. I got to see the show a couple of months back and it’s absolutely fantastic. I’m excited to be a part of the cast and to have now landed a role in the West End really has topped off an incredible year for me. I hope I do everyone proud and thanks to all my supporters for making it all possible and the best year yet.”

Joe Sugg is a British YouTuber, filmmaker, author and vlogger. As of 2019, he has over 27 million followers across all social media channels and is an international star. His videos consist of challenges, pranks, impressions and gaming, across his three YouTube channels.

Sugg is the author of the tremendously successful graphic novel series Username, which was the fastest selling graphic novel of all time. He also wrote, starred and executive produced the travelogue specials Joe and Caspar: Hit the Road and Hit the Road USA with best friend Caspar Lee, which set pre-order DVD sales records for Amazon. Both are available on Netflix.

Last year, Sugg launched Margravine Management with Caspar Lee. Margravine is a new talent management company that identifies, nurtures and elevates new talent in the digital sphere. Most recently, he was a finalist of one of the UK’s largest shows, BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Alongside Joe Sugg as Ogie, Waitress stars Lucie Jones as Jenna, Laura Baldwin as Dawn, Marisha Wallace as Becky, Peter Hannah as Earl, David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter and Andrew Boyer as Old Joe.

Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams her way out of a loveless marriage. When a hot new doctor arrives in town, life gets complicated. With the support of her workmates Becky and Dawn, Jenna overcomes the challenges she faces and finds that laughter, love and friendship can provide the perfect recipe for happiness.
