JOINING John Partridge (as the enigmatic Emcee) in Bill Kenwright’s UK tour of Cabaret will be Kara Lily Hayworth as Sally Bowles.

Kara Lily Hayworth recently won rave reviews across the country for her portrayal of Cilla Black in Cilla the Musical, after she was discovered by Bill Kenwright during the show’s nationwide TV auditions.

She said: “I owe a huge amount to Bill Kenwright! Back in 2017 when I first decided to go to the open auditions for Cilla, I had no idea how much my life would change.

“I had been working professionally for a long time, but this was a real turning point in my career, and I am so grateful to Bill for taking a chance on me. And now for him to trust me to take on another leading role (my absolute dream role) I feel so unbelievably lucky!”

As well as the UK tour of Cilla the Musical, Kara Lily Hayworth’s stage credits include: Maggie May (Finborough Theatre); Secret Cinema Presents: Moulin Rouge; The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Arts Theatre) and Peresphone (A Love Story) (Rosemary Branch Theatre). Her screen work includes: Britain’s Got Talent, Bad Day In The Office and Will.

Cabaret features show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and iconic songs, including Money Makes the World Go Round, Maybe This Time and Cabaret.

The tour opens at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre (August 28-31) before continuing to Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Crawley, Chester, Dublin, Belfast, Leicester, Shrewsbury, Hull, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Malvern, Peterborough, Sunderland, Oxford, Wimbledon (February 18-22, 2020), Manchester, Leeds, Canterbury, Sheffield, Cardiff and Stoke, with further dates and venues to be announced in due course.
