MAMMA Mia! has once again extended its run at the Novello Theatre, this time until March 4, 2017. Tickets for the new booking period will be available from April 22.

Cast changes have also been announced and are effective from June 13, 2016.

Linzi Hately, who has twice before played Donna Sheridan in the London production, will return to the role, sharing it with Sorelle Marsh, who will play Donna at certain performances.

They will be joined by Sanne Den Besten (Les Misérables, Queen’s Theatre) as Sophie Sheridan, Richard Carson (Miss Saigon, Prince Edward Theatre) as Sky, Dugald Bruce-Lockhart (The Three Lions, Edinburgh Festival/St. James Theatre) as Bill, Jemma Revell as Ali, Amy Webb as Lisa, Filippo Coffano as Pepper and Jake Small as Eddie.

They in turn are joined by Felipe Bejarano, Tabitha Camburn, Georgina Castle, Edward Chitticks, Louise Dalton, Ben Darcy, Rebecca Giacopazzi, Katy Hards, Jennifer Hepburn, Robert Knight, Rebecca McKinnis, Samira Mighty and Amy West, who will be joining Adam Clayton-Smith, Stephen John Davis, Craig Anthony Kelly, George Miller and Robbie Scotcher.

Current cast members Mazz Murray (Tanya), Jo Napthine (Rosie), Richard Trinder (Sam) and Alasdair Harvey (Harry) will continue in their roles.

Mamma Mia! is set on a Greek island where Sophie is preparing for her wedding day. Among the guests are three of her mother’s former lovers – there because Sophie is attempting to discover the identity of her father. Also present for the festivities are Sophie’s mother Donna, and her former band members.

The show, which is interspersed with ABBA disco classics such as Thank You For the Music, Dancing Queen, Take A Chance On Me, Super Trouper, Honey, Honey, plus the title song, opened at the Prince Edward Theatre in April 1999 before transferring to the Prince of Wales Theatre in June 2004. It moved to its current home in September 2012.
