Casting news

HEIDA Reed, whose character Elizabeth Warleggan met her untimely and tragic end in the season four finale of Poldark, will star with Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones, Misfits) in Foxfinder.

An unsettling and darkly comic drama by award-winning writer Dawn King, it receives its West End premiere at the Ambassadors Theatre, where it runs from September 6, 2018 to January 5, 2019.

Icelandic actress Heida Reed joined Poldark, the award-winning BBC drama, in 2015 and has since had roles in Silent Witness, also for the BBC, and as Ingrid in the romantic comedy One Day, opposite Anne Hathaway. She has also been nominated for an Icelandic Academy Award for the titular lead role in television series Stella Blómkvist.

Having trained at London’s Drama Centre, Reed’s previous stage work includes Scarlet at the Southwark Playhouse and the 2011 revival of Top Girls at Trafalgar Studios.

Further casting will be announced in due course.
