The Phantom of the Opera - cast changes announced for September

CAST changes have been announced for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, which is currently booking at Her Majesty’s Theatre until March 4, 2017.

Joining the cast from September 5, 2016, will be Siôn Lloyd (Titanic) as Monsier Firmin, Max Oxtoby (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) as Monsieur Andre, Paul Ettore Tabone (Love Never Dies) as Piangi and Daisy Hulbert, making her stage debut, as Meg.

Ben Forster (as The Phantom), Celdine Schoedmaker (as Christine) and Nadim Naaman (as Raoul) will continue in their roles.

The Phantom of the Opera opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre on October 9, 1986, with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles. Since then, there have been dozens of productions worldwide. Now in its 30th record-breaking year, it continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty’s Theatre after more than 12,000 performances.
