Wicked extends booking to May 2020

WICKED has announced the release of a further 470,000 new tickets and is now booking until Saturday, May 23, 2020 at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, where it is already the 9th longest running musical in West End history.

Wicked will also play the following added performances (all starting at 2.30pm unless otherwise stated): Thursday, April 18, Thursday, August 15, Thursday, August 29, Thursday, October 24, Monday, December 23, Friday, December 27, Sunday, December 29 (2.30pm and 7.30pm), Tuesday, December 31, 2019, Thursday, January 2, Friday, January 3, Thursday, February 20 and Thursday, April 9, 2020.

Wicked currently stars Alice Fearn (as Elphaba), Sophie Evans (Glinda), David Witts (Fiyero), Melanie La Barrie (Madame Morrible), Andy Hockley (The Wizard), Chris Jarman (Doctor Dillamond), Rosa O’Reilly (Nessarose), Jack Lansbury (Boq), Laura Pick (Standby for Elphaba) and Carina Gillespie (Standby for Glinda). Cast is subject to change from Monday, July 22 2019.

Based on the acclaimed, best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked imagines a beguiling backstory and future possibilities to the lives of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and reveals the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely University friends on their journey to becoming Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
