			  Story by Jack Foley
GRANDADDY release a sublime new single, El Caminos In The West
on August 25, taken from the bands critically-acclaimed,
                top 25 album Sumday.
The track comes on on 2 CDs and enhanced CD/DVD featuring new
and live tracks, as well as the hysterical new video to El Caminos,
which features five 11-year-old female Grandaddy impersonators
resplendent in stick-on beards and trucker caps.
The girls scissor-kick their way through the tune, while Grandaddy
wile away the hours on a cruise oblivious to the chaos the girls
                are causing in their absence.
The track listing across all formats is as follows:

In what is proving to be an excellent return for the band, Grandaddy
played and experienced their first Glastonbury and loved it earlier
                this Summer.
They spent two days taking in the madness and managed to get
drummer, Aaron, onstage with the Polyphonic Spree, clad in a red
                robe.
Now, the band head off to the States for the first leg of a US
tour, before returning to Europe to make more friends at the Lowlands
                and Pukkelpop festivals (among others).
They then return to the UK for warm-up shows at Nottinghams
Rescue Rooms on August 20, and Stoke Sugarmill on August 21, before
playing Reading and Leeds Festivals on August 22 and 24, respectively.

Grandaddy also squeeze in a show on August 23, at the Edinburgh
                Liquid Rooms.
Having played several shows in an arm-sling and sitting down,
guitarist Jim Fairchild is now fully recovered after his recent
collision with an 18-wheeler production truck.
(Rumour has it the truck is still feeling a little off-colour!).
