Book now for a place in The Secret Room

Review: Allison Browning

CONFUSION is the end result of The Secret Room. What was real or what was performed? Dinner guests are taken on a spectacular head ****!

You are invited to dinner, so book your place. You will be one of only 12 dinner guests in the 'home' of Roberta (Roberta Bosetti).

On this journey, you will eat, drink and converse with friends and strangers, where the familiar makes you want to believe.

You will arrive at 7.30pm and be told when to leave. You will grow to know your hostess little by little and may be warned; "you will see nothing here that you have not seen before." To say anything more will spoil your evening.

Hostess, Roberta, elegantly interacts with her guests, showing such skill at her craft, and leaving one feeling as though a bucket of cold water has been tipped on the theatre world as a wake-up call.

She is demure, bold and, under the direction of Renato Cuocolo, shows flair and intelligence in this masterful spectacle exploring the possibilities of theatre often left unchartered.

In her own words: "I violate the rules of theatre… I violate the rules of life."

An absolute must see!

Bookings can be made through Janet Williams at the School of Contemporary Arts (Edith Cowan)
