DRINKING Lizard entertainment presents The Men which
claims to be a roller coaster ride of mateship, attitude and wisdom
into the realms of blokedom.
The show was written by Chris Dickens in response to a front-page
newspaper story, in which the chief executive of a major government
ministry announced he would 'get rid of all the 50-year-olds'.
The play takes place in a pub where three old school mates reunite
and discuss the events that have moulded who they have become
from the school yard bullying to work pressures and marriage.

Drinking Lizard Entertainment is
a sub-section of the non-profit Menswork Project, focusing on
creating awareness of issues relating to boys and men.
It also offers a support group to initiate positive change.
The Men runs for a short three-night season, from July
29 to 31, at the Sun Moon Resort, Scarborough Beach Road Scarborough.
