A NEW play, Dr and Mrs Faustus, by Mehmet Izbudak is to
be performed at the Wimbledon Studio Theatre (Wimbledon
Theatre) for the week commencing Tuesday, May 27 to May 31.
A new spin on the legendary myth shows Dr Adam Faustus, a university
lecturer, who has tried unsuccessfully to become head of department
several times. His wife, Eva, a former TV soap star, hasn't had
a part for 13 years.

Without children, but with inertia, a huge mortgage and a failing
car, middle age and middle-aged spread are here to stay.
