Bastille Re-orchestrated joins Hampton Court Palace Festival 2020
Story by Jack Foley
BRIT Award nominees Bastille will take to the stage at Hampton Court Palace Festival 2020 for the first time.
The band will appear at the festival for one show only on Thursday, June 4, the opening night of this year’s festival which runs throughout the month of June. Tickets are on sale from Friday, January 24 at 9am here.
Following their 2018 Re-Orchestrated tour, the evening will see the band reprise a selection of songs from their last three albums; re-imagining, deconstructing and rearranging the songs with a 20-piece orchestra and choir.
Now in its 28th year, Hampton Court Palace Festival, is a series of truly special and unique open-air concerts. Artists perform in an intimate 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace. Attendees will arrive at the sumptuous Palace Gardens and can enjoy a spot of picnicking in the spectacular surroundings.
This year’s line-up also includes Rick Astley, Lionel Richie and George Benson.
