FRIDAY LATEST: Both the Queen and REM concerts that were due
to take place in Hyde Park this weekend have been cancelled.
Queen had been due to play in Hyde Park today (Friday, July 8,
2005), while REM were scheduled to star at the same venue on Saturday.
A statement from Queen guitarist, Brian May, read: "We're
all devastated to wake up and see the apalling bombing in London.
Our hearts go out to all those innocents so cruelly attacked."
According to the NME, the planned Queen & Paul Rodgers show
will now take place on July 15, while REM's show will follow on
July 16.
All tickets will remain valid for the new shows and an information
line has been set up on 0870 060 1767.
If ticket holders are unable to attend on the rescheduled dates,
they should contact their point of purchase by 6pm on Wednesday,
July 13 for a refund.

ALL concerts that were due to take
place in the capital on Thursday, July 7, 2005, were cancelled
in the wake of the terrorist attacks on London.
Here is a list of those gigs which were due to take place and
when, if known, they have been re-scheduled.
Queens Of The Stone Age concerts postponed
Somerset House has announced that tonight’s concert by
Queens of the Stone Age will be postponed, due to the current
situation in central London.
Somerset House and the band's management are in discussion about
re-scheduling the date, and an announcement will be made early
next week. The rest of the Somerset House Series is unaffected
at this time.
Somserset House have urged ticket holders not to phone the venue
and should instead look for updates on the website

No re-scheduled date has yet been revealed
Nate James - Shepherd's Bush Empire (show postponed).
All tickets will be valid for the re-arranged date on
Wednesday, October 5, 2005.
LOVE - Carling Academy Islington, N1 Centre,
16 Parkfield Street, London, N1 0PS.
Rescheduled to Thursday, July 14, 2005.
Please note that it is also unlikely that Arthur
Lee will be performing on this date, so full refunds are
available up until July 14.
Those who do still attend the rescheduled date on July 14 will
be issued a refund on the door of £8 as compensation, should
Arthur Lee not appear.
LOVE STATEMENT: "Dear friends of LOVE, due
to situations beyond our control it is likely that Arthur Lee
will not be joining us on stage. The show will be the LOVE band
featuring original LOVE singer songwriter & guitarist Johnny
