Story: Jack Foley
MANCHESTERS Longview are set to release a new single as
a download and limited 7" on May 10.
The self-produced track, a blistering version of the Depeche
Mode recording Stripped, will be the bands first
new material since the release of their debut album, Mercury,
in 2003.
In addition, following their sell-out show at the Mean Fiddler
earlier this year, Longview will play a nine-date headline tour
of the UK in June, including Londons Astoria on June 23.
Stripped will be available as a download, complete with artwork
from Longviewmusic.co.uk,
and other music sites.

Wednesday, June 16 - Fez, Reading
Thursday, June 17 - Solus, Cardiff
Friday, June 18 - Mill, Preston

Stripped will precede the release of an all-new Longview single,
In A Dream, in late June.
Penned by the bands bassist, Aidan Banks, it finds Longview
operating with a new clarity and depth after a Winter holed up
in Manchester.
