NEVER ones to miss a trick when it comes to getting the most
out of every money-making opportunity, The Rolling Stones have
announced plans to release a four DVD set, with over five hours
of live recording from their recent 'Licks' Greatest Hits World
Tour 2002/2003.
In what looks set to be a package that is well worth the money,
additional material includes never before recorded live tracks
and behind-the-scenes footage.
The set, entitled Four Flicks, will be released on November 10
and was entirely produced by TGA Entertainment, the Stones' official
tour promoters for the recent tour.
The first three discs will showcase different gigs, from the
Olympia Theatre in Paris, New York's Madison Square Garden and
Twickenham's historic event at the Rugby Football Stadium.
The fourth DVD, meanwhile, contains the never before seen documentary,
Tip Of The Tongue, and Licks Around The World, which follows the
band around the world.
Interactive bonus material includes the 'Backstage Pass', allowing
viewers to see what is going on backstage as the Stones perform
on stage, and 'Select A Stone', which is rather like the concert
equivalent of the playercam on Sky Sports' football matches.
