EVERYONE'S favourite New York rockers, The Strokes, have announced
four UK tour dates, to follow the release of their second album
in October.
The dates, in December, include two dates at London's Alexandra
Palace, on December 5 and 6, and have been well-timed to heighten
fans' excitement ahead of the October 20 release date of the album,
Room on Fire.
Tickets for the gigs go on sale at 9am on Friday, September 26,
so expect to have to dial quickly in order to avoid disappointment.

Support acts for the gigs have yet to be been announced, although
The Strokes have recently played a series of US dates with Kings
Of Leon.
Room On Fire is released in the UK on the Rough Trade
label and will be preceded by the brilliant new single, 12:51,
on October 6.
