Galifianakis and Adams move towards House dramedy
Story by Jack Foley
ZACH Galifianakis and Amy Adams are moving towards the comedy-drama Town House.
The film, which is being produced by Tony and Ridley Scott, focuses on an agoraphobic man who lives with his teenage son in a historic Boston townhouse that he inherited from his rock star father.
The man is forced to make changes, however, when the royalties from his father’s work start to run out, and he strikes up a relationship with a call girl.
Variety reports that the script has been hanging around for some time, although with Galifianakis and Adams on board work could commence in the summer of 2010.
Galifianakis continues to be in-demand following the success of The Hangover and will next be seen alongside George Clooney in Up In The Air, as well as The Hangover 2, It’s Kind of a Funny Story and Dinner for Schmucks.
Adams has just completed David O. Russell’s The Fighter, alongside Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale, and will also be seen in the romantic comedy Leap Year.
