Hayden Christensen bound for Vanishing thriller

HAYDEN Christensen has signed on to appear in new supernatural thriller, Vanishing on Seventh Street.
British actress Thandie Newton and John Leguizamo are also in final negotiations to appear, according to Variety.
The film, to be directed by Brad Anderson, is set in a once thriving American city where shadowy forms are causing residents to disappear without explanation. Five survivors fight to stay alive.
Christensen, who was last seen in Jumper, will play a reporter investigating the disappearances, while Newton would play a nurse and Leguizamo a subway operator.
Shooting is due to take place in Detroit in October.
