Julia Roberts snaps up In The Neighbourhood

JULIA Roberts has snapped up the rights to new novel, In The Neighbourhood, with a view to producing it for the big screen.
The non-fiction book, by Peter Lovenheim, follows the author as he asks his neighbours if he can come into their homes for sleepovers in an effort to get to know them better.
It was inspired by his realisation of there being a lack of community in his hometown, according to Variety.
Roberts has yet to announce whether she’ll appear in the movie but In the Neighbourhood is one of several new projects being developed by her production company, Red Om Films.
The actress is currently shooting currently shooting Eat, Pray, Love and will next be seen as part of the star-studded ensemble Valentine’s Day next year.
