Rambo 5 in development

A FIFTH Rambo movie is officially on the way, with Sylvester Stallone poised to write, direct and star in the action thriller.
Nu Image/Millennium has just greenlit the latest adventure, which will find the ex-Vietnam veteran fighting human traffickers and drug lords on the US-Mexico border as he attempts to rescue a young girl who has been abducted.
Variety reports that the fifth film has been a passion project for Stallone ever since the fourth outing, Rambo, proved a box office hit. Production is due to begin next spring.
The actor is currently in post-production on his latest action-adventure, The Expendables, which finds him starring alongside Jason Statham, Jet Li and Mickey Rourke.
