Tom Wilkinson joins The Green Hornet

TOM Wilkinson and Edward James Olmos have joined the cast of Michel Gondry’s The Green Hornet.
The film, which was recently pushed back to a December 2010 release, stars Seth Rogen as a newspaperman who becomes a masked crime-fighter at night together with an assistant named Kato (to be played by Jay Chou).
Wilkinson, who previously worked with Gondry on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, has joined the cast in an unspecified role, as has Battlestar Galactica’s Olmos, according to Total Film magazine.
It has yet to be confirmed whether Nicolas Cage has signed on to play the main villain, although the actor is reportedly in negotiations.
David Harbour, last seen in Revolutionary Road, has also joined the cast as filming finally gets underway on the project.
